Hill Manufacturing & Fabrication Named 2026 Top Shops Honoree for Business Strategies
Broken Arrow, OK – July 24, 2026 — Hill Manufacturing & Fabrication has been named the 2026 Top Shops Honoree for Business Strategies by Modern Machine Shop.
Selected through the annual Top Shops Benchmarking Survey, Hill is one of four machining businesses recognized as a 2026 honoree, with one company selected in each of the program’s four core categories: Machining Technology, Shopfloor Practices, Human Resources, and Business Strategies. This marks Hill’s first Top Shops category honor.
The Business Strategies recognition reflects the work taking place across every part of Hill, including the systems the company continues to strengthen, the decisions made with long-term growth in mind, and the team’s commitment to improving how Hill serves its customers.

The Top Shops Honoree distinction is different from being recognized as a Top Shop through the annual benchmarking program. Each year, Modern Machine Shop selects one standout company in each of the survey’s four primary categories for its Honors Program.
Hill will formally represent the Business Strategies category at the Top Shops Conference in Cleveland, Ohio, on October 6–7, 2026. Hill will also participate in a panel discussion focused on the evolution of its operations and the strategies behind its continued growth.
The recognition comes during Hill’s 50th year in business. Founded in Broken Arrow in 1976, Hill has continued to invest in its people, equipment, technology, and processes under Payne’s leadership.
